SHIPPING POLICY FOR AL DENTE PASTA CO.
At Al Dente Pasta Co., we strive to deliver your order promptly and in excellent condition. Please read this policy carefully, as it explains how we handle processing, shipping, and delivery. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Processing Times
- Standard Orders: Orders are processed within 2–4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after payment confirmation.
- Customized or Bulk Orders: Processing times for custom or large orders may vary. Contact us at customerservice@aldentepasta.com for an estimated timeline.
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM (ET) on a business day will be processed the next business day.

Shipping Methods & Transit Times
We offer the following shipping options at checkout:
- Standard Shipping: Delivery within 3–7 business days after processing.
- Expedited Shipping: Delivery within 2–3 business days after processing.
- Overnight Shipping: Delivery by the next business day for orders placed before 12:00 PM (ET).
Note: Transit times may vary depending on your location and carrier availability. Delays due to holidays, weather, or carrier disruptions are beyond our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight, size, and destination of your order. Final costs are displayed at checkout.
- Free Shipping: Free standard shipping is available for orders over $50 within the continental U.S., excluding oversized items, expedited shipping, and shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations.
Free shipping cannot be combined with any other discount codes.
Perishable and Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products:
- Perishable items, such as food products, are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- Non-food items must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging to qualify for a return.
Customers must report any issues with perishable items within 7 days of delivery and provide photographic evidence to request a resolution.
International Shipping
We ship to select countries outside the U.S. Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and additional fees required by their country.
Important: Customers assume all risks for international shipments, including customs clearance delays or rejections. Refunds will not be issued for items held or rejected by customs. Certain food products may be restricted from shipping to specific countries. Contact us at customerservice@aldentepasta.com before ordering for clarification.
Order Changes and Cancellations
- Order Modifications: Changes to orders (e.g., address, items, quantities) are not guaranteed after placement. Contact us immediately at customerservice@aldentepasta.com for assistance.
- Order Cancellations: Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of placement. After this period, the order will enter processing, and cancellations cannot be guaranteed.
Delivery Issues
If your shipment is delayed, lost, or damaged during transit, contact us at customerservice@aldentepasta.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
Important Notes:
- "Delivered but Not Received" Claims: Once an order is confirmed as delivered by the carrier to the shipping address provided, AL Dente Pasta Co. is no longer responsible for the shipment. To ensure secure delivery, customers may opt for signature-required shipping at checkout.
- Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses: AL Dente Pasta Co. is not responsible for delivery failures due to inaccurate or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer. Such orders will not be refunded.
Temperature-Sensitive Items
We take precautions to ensure temperature-sensitive items are shipped in good condition, including using insulated packaging and ice packs when necessary. However, AL Dente Pasta Co. is not liable for spoilage due to carrier delays or extreme weather conditions. Additional fees for temperature-controlled shipping will be displayed at checkout.
Fraud Prevention
For the safety of our customers, all orders are subject to fraud detection and verification. Orders flagged for potential fraud may require additional verification or be canceled at our discretion. This policy is applied uniformly and in compliance with applicable laws.
Packaging & Sustainability
We are committed to sustainability. Whenever possible, we use recyclable and eco-friendly materials to package your order securely while minimizing our environmental footprint.
Force Majeure Clause
AL Dente Pasta Co. is not responsible for shipping delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Carrier disruptions.
- Weather-related delays.
- Natural disasters.
- Pandemics.
- Strikes or labor disputes.
- Government actions or regulatory changes.
Customer Responsibilities
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
- Provide accurate and complete shipping information.
- Track the shipment using the carrier's tracking information provided via email.
- Ensure someone is available to receive the package, if required.
