pasta with mushrooms, asparagus and boursin

This Whole Wheat Fettuccine is delicious, nutritious pasta boasts 6 grams of fiber and 390 mg of ALA omega 3 yet still has the same amazing homemade, "tender, but firm" texture that has made Al Dente Pasta famous since 1981. Here's to good food and good health.

  • 1 bag Al Dente Pasta
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 5 1/2 oz Boursin Cheese, any flavor
  • 1 lb asparagus, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste


Sauté mushrooms in oil until well browned.  Stir in broth and cheese and bring to simmer.  In a large pot of boiling water, cook pasta and asparagus together, until pasta is tender but firm, approximately 4 minutes.  Drain.  Toss with sauce and salt to taste.  Enjoy!
