This is a national favorite! And, the Pasta Marco Polo is one of our most requested recipes. Please know that most people think the spice is just right, but if you don’t like too spicy, then make the Pasta Marco Polo using the egg linguine. In general, we find inspiration from Asian cultures to complement Spicy Sesame Linguine.

It is amazing that even though this is the same basic recipe as Al Dente Egg Fettuccine,and just as versatile, there are some recipes in which Egg Linguine works better. For example, with clam sauce or Asian Stirfries. But, it is another pasta adored by kids all over the country.

Pasta party for one. Home alone, and I had a bag of Al Dente Linguine and decided to downsize the recipe on the back. I made it for 2, so I could have half tonight hot, and the other half tomorrow for lunch cold. In a big bowl I tossed a handful of each broccoli, snow peas cut at diagonal, cut one green onion, carrot slivers, and toasted almonds. I measured roughly two cups of the dried pasta and cooked in boiling water just 3 min. Drained it. I measured out 2 servings worth, which was 4 Tbsp. of Newman’s Own Low Fat Asian Dressing to keep it easy. It was so good, the crunchiness of the vegetables and almonds, with the softness of the tender noodle. Yum! -Sharon Schmidt Gifford
